I was Born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico, and moved to the United States in 2014–first to Kentucky to pursue my Master’s, then to Puerto Rico. Finally, I found what I like to call home here in the peninsula, where I plan to start and raise our family with my husband Michael. I enjoy living and working in such a close-knit community. My first round of dental education resulted in earning a DDS from UANL (Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León), after which I worked for a year in Monterrey, Mexico as a dentist and as a Junior Faculty at the university. Because I am passionate about research and wanted to do some of my own to contribute to the dental field, I then earned my Master’s in Oral Biology at the University of Louisville. For my second round of dental school (which was necessary to get my license when I moved to the states), I earned a DMD from the University of Puerto Rico. When not caring for patients, I love baking and cake decorating. The combination of diverse activities and scenery this area has to offer has converted me into an outdoorsy person, so I also enjoy moderate hiking, kayaking, and exploring the Peninsula with my husband.
