Dr. Haughtington is a true native of Michigan City. She received her undergraduate degree from Purdue University, and graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis with her DDS Degree. Following graduation, she moved back to the Michigan City area to practice. Dr. Haughtington knew from the age of 10 that she wanted to be a dentist. She remembers having a bad experience at the dentist as a very young child that left her especially fearful. She was then referred to a pediatric dentist who was sensitive to her fears and made her experience a positive one.
